Afnan Said is an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto. She is a volunteer research assistant at the DATE Lab, where she contributes to interdisciplinary projects that explore how technology, such as tablet-based games, can improve cognitive function and engagement in older adults living with dementia. Afnan’s work includes cognitive domain mapping and researching how technology can enhance cognitive outcomes and overall well-being. She is passionate about improving patient care, particularly for vulnerable populations.
