COG@WORK

Cog@Work is a program of research led by researchers from the Universities of Toronto, Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University who are interested in issues related to cognitive health and employment and it is funded by AGE-WELL (ageing gracefully across environments using technology to support wellness, engagement, and long life).

Cog@Work is exploring if and how employers are preparing to optimize the productivity of an aging workforce, and in particular workers diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment or early onset dementia while on the job. Using a variety of research methods, their research is designed to identify the information, skills and technologies employers need to build sustainable and inclusive workspaces for those who identify with cognitive impairment in the workplace.
