Accessible Tablet Workshop

Individuals with dementia and cognitive impairments are often at an increased risk for depression due to multiple factors such as isolation & decreased desire to participate in activities they previously enjoyed. Additionally, symptoms of memory difficulties can cause confusion & frustration, thus preventing individuals from exploring new activities.

Join us to discover how technology can be used to improve the quality of life for individuals living with dementia through the use of fun & engaging tablet games. Our workshops demonstrate how to set up an accessible tablet and access online resources and games for individuals living with dementia or cognitive impairments.

We invite caregivers, family members, medical professionals and persons living with dementia or MCI.
