The International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Ageing Well and e-Health (ICT4AWE) brings together researchers involved in the age and health-related quality of life sectors and aims to provide a space to share ideas regarding communication technologies to help aging individuals stay healthier and more independent within their communities.

This year, the conference will be held virtually from April 23rd-25th and will focus on three main themes:

  1. Aging Well – Social and Human Sciences Perspective

  2. Telemedicine and Independent Living

  3. Digital Health and e-health

Dr. Arlene Astell is scheduled to present a Keynote Lecture ‘Leveraging Existing Technologies and Functionality for Active Ageing at this year’s conference.
