A Year in Review: 2022

The DATE lab newsletter is celebrating one year since launching!

A letter from the newsletter director:

Dear reader,

Over the past year, we have seen an outpouring of support for our lab and have established a small (but growing) community. Whether you are a researcher, a healthcare professional, a student, a caregiver or an individual struggling with symptoms of cognitive impairments or dementia, we are thankful for having you here!

We at the DATE Lab understand everyone has busy schedules and it means a lot to us to have such a wonderful community that is interested in what we have to say. Thank you for taking the time to open our newsletters from your busy inbox, taking the time to read our monthly blogs and also engaging with us on social media.

When we started our newsletter, we hoped to be able to reach to a few individuals in order to promote our research and extend invitations to webinars and conferences. Over the past year, I have had the immense pleasure of watching our subscriber list grow from just a few community partners, to a community of caregivers, researchers, students, healthcare professionals, and individuals with dementia and MCI (almost 100 subscribers)! I have enjoyed meeting many of our subscribers during our tablet workshops and have learned that our impact extends beyond our lab headquarters here in Toronto.

To our subscribers and website visitors from around the world, I cannot thank you enough. We could not have done this without you!

Yours truly,

Juanita
