Shivani Patel graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, with minors in Immunology and Physiology. At the DATE Lab, she volunteers as a research assistant, focusing on analyzing data from CIRCA to support dementia care. As a former caregiver for her grandmother, Shivani is deeply passionate about dementia research and enhancing the quality of life for individuals living with dementia. She aims to pursue a career in the healthcare and biotechnology industries, leveraging data-driven insights to improve patient care and treatment outcomes.
