Voice for Loneliness Project
The Voice for Loneliness project, led by The Human Tech Agency, aims to reduce isolation among elderly residents at Abbeyfield care homes by introducing voice-activated assistants like Google Home. The initiative enhances residents' daily lives by offering a conversational companion that helps with tasks, provides entertainment, and reduces loneliness. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with many residents feeling a significant improvement in their well-being.
It’s clear to see that the voice-assistants have made huge impacts on their lives, and we look forward to dropping in every now and again should they need any further support.
