DATE Lab Updates: Staff Changes

Farwell to DATE Lab Research Analyst Maria Acenas.

Maria joined the lab in September 2019 as an undergraduate research student where she completed her Human Biology senior thesis requirement working on the Let’s Connect project. For the past three years, she has worked on several projects including Let’s Connect, RESILIEN-T and AcToDementia. Maria also provided her indispensable knowledge and support during the monthly ‘Accessible Tablet Workshops’.

This past month, Maria embarked on a new journey pursing a Masters in Public Health at McMaster University. Her presence will be missed greatly at the lab but we wish her the best on her future endeavours.
