AcTo Dementia Guide: en Español

Juanita Atton, author of the visual guide

Our partners working on the AcTo Dementia project recently celebrated the launch of the spanish version of the visual ‘AcTo Dementia Guide’ to accompany the introductory video on their homepage.

Research analyst Juanita Atton provided us with some thoughts on creating the video and visual guide companion. In addition to writing the script and narrating the video, Juanita designed wrote both the english and spanish versions.

“We noticed that some of our existing users were not familiar with using the AcTo website and were having a hard time navigating and using all the available features. We realized that if long-time users were not able to access the built-in features, then we were not as accessible as we had hoped to be!

I created the video as a way to introduce new users to our site and remind existing ones of all the useful features that the AcTo Dementia has to offer such as the redirecting link to the App store directly from our website and our translated app reviews in Spanish. For users who prefer to see the information written down and read about it at their own pace, I later illustrated and wrote the companion visual guide. It is designed to accompany the homepage video in a step-by-step process on how to get the most out of our website capabilities!

In an effort to make all our resources more accessible, I have recently launched the spanish version on the website. In doing so, I hope that Spanish-speaking users are able to navigate our website with ease!”
