A Year in Review: 2023

The DATE lab newsletter is celebrating Two years since launching!

A letter from the newsletter director:

Dear reader,

Over the past two years, we have seen an outpouring of support for our lab and have established a small (but growing) community of researchers, healthcare professionals, trainees, family members and community allies supporting the work we do to improve the lives of those with dementia.

We understand that everyone has busy schedules and it means a lot to us to have such a wonderful community that takes the time to open our newsletters from your inbox. Without your support, we would have not been able to grow as rapidly as we have over the past two years.

When I first started our newsletter, I hoped to publish notices of research publications and extend invitations to upcoming conferences; however, your interest in our lab has led us far beyond! In late 2021, we launched DATE Lab Coffee Chat series where we occasionally interview lab members and invite you to explore a more informal side of the DATE lab team. These have been a huge success since they launched and have allowed us to incorporate a fun and educational aspect to our newsletter.

To our subscribers and website visitors from around the world, I cannot thank you enough. I enjoy curating each and every one of the newsletters and hope to continue connecting with all of you for many future editions to come.

Warmest regards,

Juanita
